Deborah, the host, was incredibly helpful and friendly. The property itself is cosy with a perfect mix of old and new decor. The bed was comfortable with plenty of bedding available. The selection of teas and coffees was excellent, and the log burner added to the warm and cosy ambiance. We can't wait to book again and highly recommend this place to anyone considering a stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we enjoyed a great night's sleep. the location was perfect for exploring the beautiful countryside and nearby pubs. We loved the cozy and homely feel of the rooms, which made us feel relaxed and at ease during our romantic escape.
The property did not meet our expectations. the lack of proper insulation made it cold and damp, with no heating or hot water available.

The place was beautifully decorated and the sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable. It was a pleasant surprise to find all the necessary amenities provided, such as milk, coffee, toilet paper, and kitchen essentials. Deborah, our host, was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed. She even gave us a fantastic recommendation for a nearby dog-friendly paddle spot. the location was also ideal, with a lovely pub called the Greyhound nearby and Cromford Mills just around the corner for cream tea and canal walks. a cozy and convenient place to stay!
Nothing that I didn't like.

We had a very cosy and comfortable stay at Burtys Snug Cromford! The decor was lovely and the kitchen equipment, including the coffee machine with high-quality pods, was fantastic. Self check-in was a great convenience for our late arrival. The parking opposite the property was also very easy. We enjoyed a beautiful morning walk directly from the cottage. it was a perfect base for exploring Matlock.
The sofa bed could have been a bit more comfortable with a thicker mattress topper. Also, the TV remote didn't have batteries, so we couldn't watch TV during our stay.
